-   trekking or on horse back, time: 4h1/2 – 5h, segmented ascension (easy hike combined with steep trails ) and the same as for the descent, recommended to everybody who doesn't suffer from any major illness and can endure a little bit of effort. The main attraction of this trip is the anthropological aspect regarding UNIQUE customs, traditions and mythology .

-    trekking or on horse back, time: 2h1/2 – 3h, light ascent and an easy descent,  recommended to everybody interested in PICTURE HUNTING and SIGHT SEEING, as the main characteristic of the trip is the abundance of elevated VIEW points .

5. VATRA DORNEI – BARNAREL PEAK – CABANA GIGI URSU – POIANA CIUNGI – GIUMALAU MOUNTAIN SHED – GIUMALAU PEAK  – RUSCA VILLAGE – VATRA DORNEI .

-         hiking or on horse back, time: 4h1/2 – 5h per day, the itinerary is structured for 2 days, with one night spent  at Giumalau log mountain shed, in the most ARCHAIC ENVIRONMENT (no electric power supply), with excellent VIEW of Calimani, Rodnei, Pietrosu Bistritei mountains, Bistrita river  and  surroundings due to its positioning. In the afternoon, a specific romanian dinner will be prepared with BALMOS (corn flower boiled in sour cream along with CAS - a special kind of cheese), a camp fire with guitar and everything, BARBEQUE  (lamb, chicken, rabbit or roasted piglets - by request ).As for drinks, we recommend the strong but delicate plum brandy called "PALINCA". The next day will consist in climbing to Giumalau peak and then an easy descent upon Rusca valley.

The itinerary is recommended to everybody who wants to please his/her   senses.

-         OBS : the itinerary can be structured as a  3 days trip -  by request -  with an additional accommodation at Gigi Ursu mountain shed, where a PAINTBALL COURSE can be arranged into a special location - an ex trench warfare battle field from World War II, an ORIENTEERING course and contest, or a religious afternoon at the nearby hermit monastery participating to "VICERNII" - the night mass .

-         hiking or on horse back, time: 4h1/2 – 5h per day, the itinerary is structured for 3 days, with one night spent  at Giumalau log mountain shed, in the most ARCHAIC ENVIRONMENT (no electric power supply), with excellent view of Calimani, Rodnei, Pietrosu Bistritei mountains, Bistrita river  and  surroundings due to its positioning. In the afternoon, a specific romanian dinner will be prepared with BALMOS (corn flower boiled in sour cream along with CAS - a special kind of cheese), a camp fire with guitar and everything, BARBEQUE  (lamb, chicken, rabbit or roasted piglets - by request ).As for drinks, we recommend the strong but delicate plum brandy called "PALINCA".

The second accommodation  at Cabana Pastorala Rarau - mountain shed, or Rarau Meteo Station according to reasonable mountain accommodation conditions (electric supply, bathroom - shower ) .

-         In Rarau Mountains(one of the BEST CLIMBING SITES in Romania), a ROCK CLIMBING DAY can be arranged by request along with TIROLIANA - ROPE DESCENDING and ORIENTEERING COURSES and CONTEST. These are additional activities, therefore,  necessitate additional accommodation .

For descent, we have 2 options :

                  - Toancelor valley which is short an steep,

                  - The access road which is longer but far easier.

-         hiking and trekking, time: 4h- 4h1/2 per day, transport by bus to Chiril village, light ascension –medium until RARAU MONASTERY, it  then continues with a series of 3 VIEW POINTS upon Bistrita valley and both Giumalau and Stanisoarei mountains, accommodation at Cabana Pastorala Rarau mountain shed or Rarau Meteo Station according to reasonable mountain accommodation conditions (electric supply, bathroom - shower ).

-         The itinerary is segmented hiking (medium ascension with steap rocky trails and sloaps ), time: 6h1/2 – 6h per day, with spectacular glacial ridges, valleys and lakes, known as  the WILDEST HABBITED AREA IN EUROPE, one accommodation at  Retitis Meteo Station  according to reasonable mountain accommodation conditions (electric supply, bathroom - shower ). A mountain trasee in the most serious way to speak about it, suitable to people in shape, accustomed to constant effort, but once you get there it worth every penny.

Although to those willing and determined the itinerary can be structured so it best fit their needs:

                  - on horse back and avoiding certain parts of the rigde

                 - spending more days on the mountain and sleep in tents in camping places provided by Calimani National Park .
